"The Coyote Who Wanted to Dance With The Stars"

This is a synopsis of an old Cheyenne story that tells of a coyote who kept begging the stars to take him up in the skies so that he could see what they see. He howled so long that finally one star scooped him up and wheeled through the heavens until Coyote began to tire. He begged to be put down to earth again but the star wasn't ready to descend. Coyote let go and fell for ten years before he met his end. Like all fables there is a moral to the story.
